A poem about escapism The Crystal Ship Before I slip into unconsciousness, I visualize the crystal ship, Experience a world of bliss, In sanctuary you won't forget, And as the world comes falling down, Take shelter in the underground, Enclosed within wonderful sights, Lift off and we take flight, I've got to get away on a journey to another plane, Head spiraling around like a hurricane, Search for escape all the time, I need a guide to lead me through the labyrinth in my mind, A journey through the eyes of a troubled soul, Sympathy evoked from the struggle & woes, Will the storm finally weather, I long to escape to a place from the all the pressure, I long for some pleasure once again, The final measure a new beginning, No longer to listen, To wasted ambitions, Hypocrites giving there best catechism, A fall from grace, Driven to a place, I can r
