Here is my report of The Campaign 4 Justice 4 Kingsley Burrell March DATE: Saturday July 2nd 2011 TIME: 12 noon STARTING POINT: Abbey Street, Winson Green, Hockley, B18 5QS FINISHING POINT AND RALLY AT: West Midlands Police HQ, Lloyd House, Colmore Circus, Queensway, Birmingham, B4 6NQ ROUTE: Assemble in Abbey Street from 12 noon, to march for 1pm, then walk on past the Seacole mental health unit in Winson Green, where Kingsley was taken, then on to Bolton Road, Soho Road and into the city centr e to Lloyd House, the headquarters of West Midlands police. Kingsley died in extremely suspicious circumstances in Birmingham. It is reported that Kingsley called the police after he tried to talk to a group of young people who were intimidating him and his 5 year old son. So I was at a friend of mine the other nights and as i'm channel surfing I mark out like "Hey Columbo is on" hearing my exasperation her response was "Columbo? whats he from?" I was like "Errm really?! Columbo" lol it was a funny moment and I was surprised she had never heard of Peter Falk I told he her had a glass eye and as a nurse she guessed which one it was!
