Ex-Carbonation Cult member & Wife "Velvet" BREAKS DOWN her Recruitment, ...

Eligio Bishop, also known as "Nature Boy" and "3God," is the leader of an alleged cult named Carbon Nation. Bishop's group, which has been described as a sex cult, has been the subject of significant legal and social controversy. He promotes his teachings and lifestyle extensively through social media, where he commands a group of followers who view him as a spiritual leader or deity (Yahoo) (Yahoo).

In March 2024, Bishop was found guilty on multiple charges, including rape, false imprisonment, and revenge porn. These charges stemmed from incidents involving former members of Carbon Nation, who alleged that Bishop controlled and abused them. One specific case involved a former follower who accused him of raping her and then posting explicit videos of her online without consent when she tried to leave the group (Black Enterprise) (11Alive.com).

Bishop's trial revealed disturbing practices within Carbon Nation, including allegations of physical and emotional abuse. Despite claims from some followers that they joined the group voluntarily and viewed it as a supportive "tribe," the court found sufficient evidence of coercive and abusive behaviors under Bishop's leadership (Yahoo) (11Alive.com).

He has been sentenced to life without the possibility of parole and is expected to appeal the decision (Yahoo). The case has drawn attention to the dangers posed by such groups and the complex dynamics of control and exploitation that can occur within them.
