R.I.P. Michelle Forbes-Greaves

My 31-year-old cousin who was eight months pregnant died in a single-car crash Wednesday morning in Bridgehampton when the car she was driving struck a tree, police said. Michelle Forbes-Greaves of Bridgehampton was driving south on the Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike at 8 a.m. when she crossed into the northbound lane, sideswiped a tree and then hit a second tree head on, according to Southampton Town police. There were no passengers, police said. Bridgehampton Fire Department responded and extricated Forbes-Greaves from the vehicle, a 2001 Saturn four-door. Police said they impounded the car for further investigation and a safety check. Forbes-Greaves was pronounced dead at the scene and taken to the Suffolk County medical examiner's office in Hauppauge, according to police. Police said the crash occurred near the Bridgehampton Child Care and Recreation Center and the road remained closed for about three hours. The cause of the accident is yet to be determined, police added. No...

Poem: Unknown Number

Unknown Number Memorized digits swirl around in my head, Cogitating if I should dial, Choice's, decisions on what I should do? With thoughts of you making me smile, Longing just to hear your voice, I withhold my number and enter yours, Gaze at the screen send or end? Umm?? Take a breath and I pause, What shall I say? What topic is fitting, Should I hang up or call and just listen, Reached a decision just not the right time, Maybe all part of a grander design, Maintain composure from longing to speak, Spellbound in stigmatic levels at peak, What I requireth hegira from torture, Hello!... Here it goes.. I'm ready now.. Sort of! With no-one around the time is now here, Press the green button the phone to my ear, Rampant with fear on how you'll reply, Fears apprehension I deftly defy, .... Mmn I can hear something.. That can't be right, Please check the number again then re try, Guess Its been too long since we've severed ties, As now your phone number has not been reco...

(Blog) The Liquidation of the Lady

Good Evening groovemiesters!! “Scarcity of self value cannot be remedied by money, recognition, affection, attention or influence." - Gary Zukav Today brought to my attention as well as well as over 5000 other people and counting, was a freestyle video ironically titled "Spit Your Game" which boasts a young (under 18) female MC who's 3 minutes are spent in a Lil Kim-esque tirade on her sexual deviance. Now I stand impartially from a place of no judgments as everyone makes there life choices, and seeing how this has become so topical it brings out an issue I've often thought about which is the liquidation of the lady! Looking at "OG Niki" what I know is there were some sound bites that got sent around on the blackberry where she braggadociosly told a friend a story of a sexual encounter she had with 6 guys I won't dry snitch names or go into detail but she isn't shy of the facts or acts she took part in. At this point there was n...

Ungrateful Woman Divorces Her Husband Because He's Too Nice!

The title says it all, some broads are just sooo darn ungrateful i never quite got or understood this notion of a woman not wanting to be with a guy because he is "TOO generous or TOO nice" its a misguided concept I've never quite understood which bodes the idea that if you feel a mans treatment is too good for you says a lot on how you value yourself & to trade something of high value like love and care for material gain or money makes you a straight up super loser in my eyes!!

News: Former Manchester City forward jailed for assault

The former Manchester City forward Kelvin Etuhu was jailed for eight months for assault yesterday. The 22-year-old, who was recently released by City, broke the jaw of a 24-year-old man during a fight last February. He had previously admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm and affray. Etuhu kicked Owen Fitzpatrick three times after punching him to the ground, and was caught on CCTV doing so. The fight occurred on 28 February last year, outside Manchester's 235 Casino. Etuhu and his friend Rico Richards, 27, were involved in a dispute inside the casino with Fitzpatrick and two other men, which continued on the street outside. The sentencing took place yesterday at Warrington Crown Court. Judge Hale told Etuhu that he had "blown" his opportunity of a lucrative football career. "You brought yourself up by your bootstraps, you and your family, having come here from Nigeria with nothing but your talent, grit and determination," he said. ...
